Born in Saint Paul to Giuseppe and Maria Cesedia DiCosimo, she graduated from Johnson High School and was an employee of the 3M Company. She died peacefully, surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband John F. Babler, and her siblings Blanche Petterssen, Louise Weston, Flora Findeisen, Emmet DiCosimo, and Ralph DiCosimo. A loving, kind and generous person, she will be greatly missed by all those who knew her, especially her family: sister Gloria Chatterton; children Emmett (Carmela Hopkins) Babler, and SallyAnn (Bradley) Winterle; grandchildren Christof (Jennifer), Stacy, and Brian Babler; Bret (Angela), and Chad Winterle; great-grandchildren Hunter, Chandler, and Nicholas Babler; Cameron and Olivia Babler-Lopez; and Madeline, Jack, and Margaret Winterle; former daughter-in-law Joan (David) Butcher; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation at Sandberg Funeral Services, 2593 E 7th Ave, North Saint Paul from 3:00 to 6:00 pm on Sunday, May 8. Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Ambrose Catholic Church, 4125 Woodbury Drive, Woodbury at 11:00 am, Monday, May 9 with visitation starting at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Salvation Army.
