In Taunton, April 28, 2016 Donald Francis Daignault, Age 86, passed away in Morton Hospital following a brief illness. Donald was the husband of the late Evelyn (Wilbur) Daignault. He was born in Taunton, the son of the late George & Annie (Mead) Daignault. Donald was educated in Taunton schools and had resided in Taunton all his life. He served his country during WWII in the U.S. Army. Donald worked for the Department of Corrections in Bridgewater until his retirement. He enjoyed reading, watching sports, doing yard work spending time with family, especially his loving grandchildren. Donald leaves his son Melvin H. Daignault of Los Angeles, CA and his daughter Susan A. Nascimento of East Freetown and his late daughter Donna E. Perry. He also leaves his grandchildren Jennifer Schiavone of North Conway, NH, Lisa Nascimento of Raynham and great grandchildren Rachel Parlin of New Vineyard, ME, Kyle Walsh of North Conway, NH and his great great grandchild Breece Parlin of ME and his late grandson Robert Ricker. He also leaves his late siblings George and Henry Daignault. Funeral services are private at the request of the family and burial will be in Mayflower Hill Cemetery in Taunton.
