Myrtie B. (Jaques) Bonvin, 78, of Franklin, died May 2 in the Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care in Milton. She was the loving wife of Andre J. Bonvin.
Born in Boston, June 2, 1937, the daughter of the late William and Myrtie (Livingston) Jaques, Mrs. Bonvin was raised in Andover and had lived in Franklin for the past 51 years.
Myrtie was a graduate of Punchard High School in Andover and Salem Hospital School of Nursing in Salem, MA.
As a Registered Nurse, she had been the Head Nurse at Salem Hospital.
Myrtie enjoyed time with her family, vacations to the ocean and other destinations, writing, and spending time with close friends.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Lizette Bonvin of Huntersville, NC, Jeanine Bonvin of San Diego, CA and Christian Bonvin and his wife Brenda of Poestenkill, NY.
Her graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, May 6 in West Parish Garden Cemetery, Andover at Noon. Calling hours will be on Thursday from 4-7 pm in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the Boston Children’s Hospital, 300 Longwood Ave. Boston, MA 02115, or the charity of one’s choice.
