Judith “Judy” A. Forde passed away peacefully in the company of her loving family on Monday, May 2, 2016. Most recently a Braintree resident, she had resided in Quincy for the past 25 years after living in Milton for over 50 years. A retired Nurse’s Aide, Judy had worked at the Ocean Side Nursing Home, Wollaston and the Crest View Nursing Home, Quincy. She was a former member of The Tremont Temple and a longtime parishioner & choir member of the Quincy Point Congregational Church. The devoted daughter of the late John T. & Kathryn (Wood) Forde, she was the dear sister of Charlotte Mims of VA and the late Natalie Kane, Elizabeth Whealan, Barbara Torney and John T., Jr., Robert E. and Bruce Forde. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, wonderful friends and her new special friend “Bo the dog”. Visiting at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Thursday morning 9:30 to 10:30 am. Funeral Service at the Quincy Point Congregational Church, Thursday at 11 am. Interment in Milton Cemetery.
