Obituary

BALDINELL, Albert C. of Winthrop, in his 95th year, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on April 30, 2016. He was the beloved husband of 67 years to the late Alice H. Baldinell. He is survived by his four children, Marie A. O'Brien of Winthrop, Barbara B. Marcus and her husband Martin of Marblehead and Chatham, Judith DiVito and her husband James of Naples FL, and Albert C. Baldinell, Jr. of Winthrop; four grandchildren, Ellen O' Brien of NY, Laurie Streeter of Winthrop, James DiVito of Los Angeles, and Matthew DiVito of Boston, and two great grandchildren, Gabrielle and Kenneth Streeter II of Winthrop and many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by three brothers and three sisters. Albert was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving during WWII aboard the U.S.S. Franklin. He was member of the Belle Isle Fishing Club, a Life Member and Past Exalted Ruler of the Winthrop Lodge of Elks #1078, and was a Deputy Harbormaster for the Town of Winthrop for 33 years. Prior to his retirement, Al was employed at Bethlehem Steel and Shipyard in East Boston in a Manager position. At the family's request, Funeral and Burial Services were private. Funeral arrangements were from the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St WINTHROP.
