Peter A. Colella age 51 of Westwood passed away at the Tippet House in Westwood May 2nd after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Born in Norwood, he was a lifelong resident of Westwood and graduated from Westwood High School Class of 1983. Peter made his career at Winco Window Covering for over 30 years as his brother’s job supervisor and right hand man. Peter had a love of cars and the outdoors. He was an avid snowmobiler and enjoyed trails in Rangely, ME all winter and enjoyed boating on Lake Winnipesaukee, Cow Island, NH. Loving son of Jo-an (Carabbio) and Ralph J. Colella of Westwood. Brother of Christopher J. Colella and his wife Marie of Norwood. Uncle of Domenic and Melissa Colella of Norwood. Cherished best friend of John Schavio and Ralph Khirallah, and many other loving friends. Nephew of Carol DeFreitas of Stoughton. Cousin of Dana DeFreitas of Stockbridge, VT. Relatives and friends invited to attend a funeral service at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Saturday morning at 11 am. Visiting hours omitted, burial private.
