Obituary

RAYNHAM – Anibal “Nebbs'' Bernardo of Raynham, husband of Rose (Soares) Bernardo for 67 years, passed away peacefully at his home on April 30, 2016.

He was 88.

Born in Taunton, he was the son of Joseph and Laura (Veiga) Bernardo.

He was a member of IBEW local #223 while employed as an electrician at Marvel and Briggs Electric in Taunton.

Nebbs was a member and past President of the former Broadway Social Club of Taunton, where he enjoyed preparing clam boils and cookouts for the members and friends in his back yard on Broadway.

He loved digging clams and quahogs and harvesting oysters in years past. He enjoyed taking camping trips to Maine and Florida with his family.

He was always there to help and lend a hand to whoever needed it.

He was the best Dad anyone could ask for and he will surely be missed by us all.
