Senn, Gilbert H., 83, passed away April, 30, 2016 in Louisville.
He was born to Leo and Hattie (Barker) Senn.
Gilbert was a Maintenance Mechanic for E.I. DuPont, where he retired in 1993, after many years of service. He was a member of St. Dennis Catholic Church, then Mary Queen of Peace; a proud U.S. Army Veteran who served in the Korean War. He loved to play golf, enjoyed being with his grandkids, camping, and swinging on the patio.
Gilbert is preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Lee Roy and Raymond Senn.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 58 yrs., Ruth Ann (Hardesty); his children, Kevin Senn Shelia Ackermann (Rick), and Karen Draper (Dave); seven grandchildren, Joseph, Luke, Eli, and Shelby Ackermann, Colin, Isaac, and Aubrey Draper; and a special neighbor, Betty Dwyer.
A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday at 10:00AM at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church 4005 Dixie Hwy. Burial is in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday 1:00-8:00PM at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy.
