Beloved brother of Evelyn Grace-Niemi and her husband Gene of Dracut, Janet Sullivan of Center Barnstead, NH, Phyllis Elliott and her husband Bill of Peabody, Patricia Michaud and her husband Michael of Fairfield, CT and the late Susan Piasecki. Brother-in-law of the late James Demore and Richard Grace. Loved and missed by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, Chelsea on Friday, May 6th at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Stanislaus Church, 163 Chestnut St., Chelsea at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Born in Chelsea and a resident here until a few years ago. He was a member of the Chelsea Knights of Columbus #83 and Explorer Post 109, and worked for over 30 years as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service in the Framingham area until his retirement in 2010.
