Frederick L. Mickelboro, Sr., 76, of Manchester, died July 6, 2005, after a long illness.
He was born in Canaan, VT on November 18, 1928, the son of Fred and Laura (Ellingwood) Mickelboro. He was a veteran of WWII, having served in the Army Air Corps.
Until his retirement, he had been employed by Ethan Allen Furniture Company.
He had lived most of his life in Canaan, VT, but had also resided in California. While in California, he had been employed by Torrence Tubing Company.
He was predeceased by his former wife, Irvena Williams, and one son, Frederick L. Mickelboro Jr.
Members of his family include a son, Jack Mickelboro of North Carolina; a sister, Hilda Allen of Woodbury, VT; two brothers, Earl Mickelboro of Louisburg, Kansas, and Allen Mickelboro of Longview, Texas; nephews and nieces.
Funeral services were private at the convenience of the family. Urn burial was in NH State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen.
