Obituary

WORCESTER-Violet Andrews, 68, of Worcester died peacefully into the arms of God, Thursday, July 7th. Violet leaves her mother, Edith Andrews of Worcester, a sister, Shirley Van Vleck of Worcester, a brother, Arthur and his wife Adele Andrews of Vero Beach, Florida, nieces and nephews, who she loved with all her heart, Brenda A. Ennis of Oxford, E. Victor Van Vleck of Barre, Shirley Baker of Worcester, Tristan Andrews of Boston and Cristi Andrews of Los Angeles, California, a grand niece, Molly Ennis and 2 grand nephews, Zachary Van Vleck and Justin Baker.

She was born in Worcester the daughter of Victor Andrews and lived here all her life. Ms. Andrews graduated from Commerce High School-Horace Mann and received the DAR Citizenship Award. She was a great lover of music and an accomplished pianist and performed at Worcester Auditorium representing her high school class. Violet will be sadly missed by her family and all who knew her. God has brought peace and comfort to her.

The funeral is Saturday, July 9th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a service at 11:00 AM in St. Mary’s Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church, 535 Salisbury Street. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. A calling hour is from 9:30 until 10:30 AM the day of the funeral in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church, 535 Salisbury Street, Worcester, MA, 01609 or the charity of ones choice.
