New Bedford – Michael Silva Vieira, passed away July 5, 2005 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the brother of Melanie and Lisa Vieira of New Bedford. He was the grandson of Gracinda Oliveira of New Bedford.
Mr. Vieira was born in New Bedford, Mass. and lived in this area all of his life. He was the son of Miguel J. and Luisa (Silva) Vieira. Mr. Vieira loved playing basketball.
Mr. Vieira’s funeral will be Saturday, July 9, 2005, from the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. at a time to be announced. with a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Church at a time to be announced. Visiting hours will be Friday July 8, 2005 from 6 to 9 P.M. Burial will take place at St. John Cemetery.
