Thelma Lucille (Cyr) Demers, born in Lawrence, MA in 1923, died peacefully April 26, 2016 at the Bedford Falls Senior Living Center in Bedford, NH after a long and happy life. Thelma was a stay at home mom, who raised four children and cared for her husband Alfred J. Demers through his long struggle with Parkinson’s disease. She loved gardening, her cats, and looked forward to being reunited with Alfred, who passed on in 2002. Thelma is survived by her sister, Claire (Cyr) Parthum of Methuen, MA; two sons, Alan Demers and wife Sue Manning of Hector, New York; Gerard Demers of Hampton, NH and Joanne Rowan Demers of Middleton, MA; and two daughters, Annette and Richard McKinnon of Hudson, NH, and Louise and Thomas McKernan of Colorado Springs, CO, as well as 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
