Rodman E. Hacker, 91, of Walpole, died April 25 in the Charlwell House in Norwood. He was the husband of the late Mary E. (Francesco) Hacker who died in 2011.
Born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, March 31, 1925, the son of the late Harry and Mary (Leisher) Hacker, Mr. Hacker was raised in Pennsylvania and had lived in Walpole for over sixty years.
He had been a machinist for the Hill Machine Company in Walpole for many years before retiring.
Rod had served in the Navy during World War II as a Torpedoman’s Mate First Class.
He is survived by his son Paul Hacker of Norwood and many close friends.
His funeral service will be held on Friday, April 29 in the Ginley Funeral Home, 892 Main Street, Walpole at 1:00p.m.
Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Dover.
Visitation will be on Friday from Noon until 1:00 p.m.
