Howard Orin Bunker, 94 of Derry, NH died on Tuesday April 26, 2016 at his home. Mr. Bunker was born in Derry on June 2, 1921 a son of the late Fred M. and Lottie R. (Parker) Bunker. He was a 1939 graduate of Pinkerton Academy in Derry and had been a lifelong resident. He enjoyed working outdoors, gardening and reading. Mr. Bunker had worked for Barlow’s Flower Shop in Derry for a short period of time, which he greatly enjoyed. He also worked as a carpenter for a small window company in Manchester for several years. He is survived by his sister, Amy R. Bunker of Derry, his niece, Cheryle Bunker-Good and her husband William John Good of Londonderry, NH, his sister-n-law, Joy Bunker of Ann Arbor, MI and her children, Mark Bunker of Prairie Village, KS, Paul Bunker of Pittsburgh, PA, and Amy Bunker of Ann Arbor, MI. He was predeceased by his siblings, Milon F. Bunker, Ralph W. Bunker, Leon O. Bunker, and Fred E. Bunker. Following cremation, Graveside services were held Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at 10:00am in the Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry, NH.
