Ella Artasser Clements

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Monday, April 25, 2016, at Kentwood Nursing Home, Mrs. Ella Artasser Clements, age 87, better known as “Tessa” to everyone who knew her.

Mrs. Clements was a member of Curtis Baptist Church and loved being involved with the senior choir and happy “39’s”, while she was active there. She had a special love for her dog “Alley” who was by her side every day until she was confined to assisted living.

Family members include her son: Jimmy Clements (Pam) and her daughter: Pat Tyler (Jim). She has four grandchildren: Jim Clements, Jr (Vivian), Brad Tyler (Kimberly), Jeremy Tyler (Melissa) and Dana Tyler. She has five great-grandchildren: John Clements, James Clements (Candice), Hunter Tyler, Ashlyn Tyler and Hanna Kate Tyler; great-great grandchild: Daniel Clements; and brothers: Frank Kelly and Charles Kelly.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to the St. John Tower assisted living floor and to Kentwood Nursing Home for their care of her for the past six years.

A memorial service will be Friday, April 29, 2016 at 6:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Sherrill Dunn officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Curtis Baptist Church Happy 39’s, 1326 Broad Street, Augusta, GA 30901.
