Joseph Narciss Cote, 75, of Londonderry, NH, passed away peacefully Monday April 25, 2016 in the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. He was born December 21, 1940 in Brunswick, ME, the first son of Joseph and MarieAnge (Gaudreau) Cote. After his graduation from Brunswick High School he attended Southern Maine Vocational Technical in Portland, ME before moving on to Southern NH University where he received his Bachelor’s in business. Joe held a variety of senior level positions at General Electric in Hooksett during his 40 years of employment with the company. He retired at the age of 60 and enjoyed 15 great years of retirement. Joe Loved fishing and Boating and would spend his free time at his house in Boothbay Harbor Maine. He also loved woodworking and even tried his hand at painting. He will be lovingly remembered as a man who loved to spend time with his family and friends.
He is survived by two daughters, Joanne Blanchette and her husband Guy of Naples, FL and Jennifer Landry and her husband Keith of Navarre, FL; a brother, Dennis Cote and his wife Pauline of Brunswick, ME; six grandchildren; Colby, Bailey, Ainsley and Mason Blanchette of Naples, FL, Spencer and Brennan Landry of Nashua, NH; and Joe’s special friend, Candace Parent of Litchfield, NH.
Calling hours were held on Friday, April 29, 2016 from 9am to 11am in the Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd. Londonderry. A Liturgy of Christian Burial was celebrated at 11:30am in St. Mark’s Parish, 2 South Rd. Londonderry. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Lighthouse Preservation Society, at lighthousepreservation.org.
