Edwin M. Kenney, of Norfolk, formerly of Walpole for 40 years, died Sunday, July 3, 2005 , at Caritas Norwood Hospital. He was 90 years of age and had been ill for some time.
Edwin was born in Boston on December 21, 1914 and was the son of the late Joseph and Marjorie (Conant) Kenney.
He was the husband of the late Rita (Quinan) Kenney.
Ed worked as a general laborer for Rust Craft Cards in Dedham.
He is survived by Niece Carol Cudia of Nashua, NH, Nephew David Gray of Norfolk, MA, Nephew Dr. Bruce Gray of Sherborn, MA, Niece Linda Gray of Needham, MA, Nephew Kevin Quinan of Middleton, MA, Nephew Jack Quinan of Buffalo, NY, Niece Louise O’Connor of Ogunquit, ME, Niece Margery Bernis of Stoneham, MA, Great-nephew Cpt. Andrew Dreier of San Diego, CA and Great-niece Wendy Ditcham of Westford.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 11 at 10:30 AM in the Tracy Funeral Home, 45 Common St. Walpole, MA With Rev. Donald Delay officiating. Visiting hours are Sunday, July 10 from 4 to 8 PM. All are welcome.
Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, West Roxbury, MA.
