Nancy M. Orban, 90, of Salem NH, passed away Monday April 25, 2016, peacefully in Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill, MA. She was born in Boston, MA on July 25, 1925, a daughter of Gerard and Camille (Tramantozzi) Cedrone. She had been a resident of Salem NH for the past four years, formerly living in Sandown NH where she resided for 25 years. Nancy graduated from Northeastern University School of Nursing and worked in every area of nursing. She worked as a nurse for the state of NH until her retirement. She enjoyed spending her time dancing at the Senior Center in Salem, exercise, choral group, and senior activities.
She is survived by three sons, Chester J. Orban of East Falmouth, MA, Daniel Orban of Nashua, NH and Ronald Orban of Windham ME; a daughter, Geraldine Molloy of Brentwood, NH; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Antoinette Del Vendo of Somerville, MA, Anne Rickman of Bedford, MA and Luana Mascia of Stoneham, MA as well as many nieces and nephews. Nancy was predeceased by her husband, Chester F. Orban in 2008.
Calling hours were on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 from 3pm to 7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 15 Birch St, Derry, NH. Funeral services were held on Thursday at 11am in Mary Queen of Peace, 200 Lawrence Rd. Salem, NH. The burial will follow in NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, NH 03303.
