CLANCY, Joseph J. Of Wellesley, April 21. Beloved husband of the late Marilyn A. (Ready) Clancy. Devoted father of Cynthia J. Grigsby and her husband Robert of Natick, Sarabeth Ward and her husband Robert of Goffstown, NH, John R. Clancy and his partner John Ranco of Jamaica Plain, Sandra J. Clancy and her husband Louis Kaczmarek of Newton. Grandfather of Katelyn and Alexandra Ward, Benen Kaczmarek and the late Jack Kaczmarek. Brother of the late John Clancy and his surviving wife Flora of Waltham and the late Thomas Clancy and his late wife Mary. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Joseph was a retired Letter Carrier for the Wellesley Hills Post Office and a WWII Army Veteran. The Family would like to thank the staff and residents of the Elizabeth Seton Residence, Joseph's home for the past 18 months. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, integrity and his love of family.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St. (RT. 16), WELLESLEY, Monday at 8 a.m. Funeral Mass in St. Paul Church, Wellesley, at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Sunday 3-7. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Needham.
