Lora J. (Plummer) Van de Bogart was unexpectedly called home to Heaven on April 17, 2016. She was born in Nashua and resided in Londonderry, NH until 1992 when she moved to Port Orange, FL with her husband, Lanny of 59 years. She continued to spend her summers in NH with her family. She graduated from Alvirne High School in Hudson and had worked part time at Sunnycrest Farm in Londonderry for many years. She was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church, Port Orange, FL and attended Village Chapel Baptist Church, Weare, NH. She was a fierce cancer survivor who lived by Grace knowing that each day was a gift from God.
Lora is survived by her husband Lanny, three children, Cathy (David) Graveline of Londonderry, Mark (Tammy) Van de Bogart of Davenport, FL, Jeffery (Dawn) Van de Bogart of Manchester, three sisters, Bette (Jay) Moreau of Gilford, Susan (Robert) Miller of Bedford, Diane (Harry) Lamb of Gainesville, FL, six grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, Bernard & Mabel (Nugent) Plummer, her sisters Carolyn Socci and Lida Wilson of Londonderry, Bernice Gardiner of New Boston.
Calling hours were held on Monday, May 2, 2016 from 9 - 11:00 am with a funeral service that was held at 11:00 at Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. Burial followed in Glenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
