Lorene A. Dunmire, formerly of St. Petersburg, Florida and originally from her beloved Johnstown, PA passed away April 22, 2016 at the age of 92 in Needham, MA.
Lorene raised her 6 children all over the world, notably Sydney, Australia; Manila, Philippines; St. Paul, MN; Madrid, Spain; Mexico City, Mexico and St Petersburg, FL. Beloved wife of the late James D. Dunmire, loving mother of James and his wife Lenore of Belleair, Florida; Bonnie Marett and her husband Louis of Weston, MA; Terry and his partner Karen McCoy of Scottsdale, AZ; William of Creston, OH; Deborah and her spouse Carol Card of Boston, MA; and Scott and his wife Madelyn of Phoenix, AZ.
Devoted grandmother of Valerie Liedtke, Zachary Dunmire, Jim Marett, Brandon Dunmire, Lauren Sherman, Dana Marett, Lindsay Dunmire and Ruby Dunmire. She is also survived by her great grandchildren: Julia and Brooke Liedtke, Camille and Conrad Dunmire, and Tommy and Louisa Marett.
A funeral mass will be held at St Joseph Church, 1360 Highland Avenue, Needham, MA on Friday April 29 at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lorene’s name to the American Macular Degeneration Foundation.
