Mrs. Victolia S. (Walent) Wrigley, a lifelong resident of Andover and beloved wife of the late Henry Wrigley, passed away at the Lawrence General Hospital in Lawrence on Friday morning, April 22, 2016. She was 96 years old.
Born in Rumford, Maine, on April 24, 1919, she was the beloved daughter of the late Peter and Stephanie (Przelgowska) Walent. Mrs. Wrigley worked as an assembler for Wester Electric for many years. In her spare time, Victolia enjoyed gardening around her home, knitting and spending time at her camp in Tuftonboro at Lake Winnipesaukee. She will be dearly missed.
She was the loving mother of Henry P. and his wife Joan M. Wrigley of Andover and Joan A. Hickey of Madison, New Hampshire, grandson's; Steven and Daniel Wrigley and Rob and Kyle Hickey, great-grandson's; William, Jack and Thomas Wrigley and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Peter and Charles Walent and Priscilla Swanson.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex Street, Andover on Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Interment will be privately held. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home of Andover.
