Manchester– Claire R. (Cote) Leroux, 87 died April 21, 2016 at Catholic Medical Center following a brief illness.
She was born in Manchester on January 22, 1929 the daughter of Napoleon and Lucienne (Bergeron) Cote.
She had worked for Pandora Industries and taught CCD at St. Jean Baptiste for over 42 years. She also worked briefly for St. Peter’s Home. Kids Block and Alpha Bits.
Family members include her husband of 58 years, Marcel Leroux of Manchester, her grandchildren, Christie McQuesten and husband Matthew of Litchfield, Sonya Clark and husband Keith of Pittsfield, Matthew Hawley and wife Lauren of Hudson, FL., Ryan Hawley of Florida, Samantha Costello and husband Michael of Rhode Island, Michael Jones of Manchester, Scott Osolinski and wife Lisa of Michigan, several great grandchildren, one sister, Lucille Gustafson of Manchester, two sisters in law, Irene Belanger and husband, Maurice and Sandy Cote both of Goffstown, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by two sons, Michael Hawley and Basil Osolinski and a brother Robert Cote.
Calling hours will be on Monday from 4 to 6 PM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 AM in Parish of the Transfiguration, Kelley St.
Committal prayers will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
The family would like to thank Caitlin and the staff of E 400 of CMC Hospital for the compassion they showed toward Claire and her family.
