FALL RIVER – Walter D. Goncalo, age 73 passed peacefully on April 16, 2016. Walter, the son of the late Walter & Emma (Falcon) Goncalo, and his legacy will live on through Louise Marie (Cabral) Goncalo, his wife of 53 years, his daughter Sylvia Goncalo, son Gregory Goncalo and wife Carol (Picard) Goncalo, son Daniel Goncalo and his wife Lynn (Pittenger) Goncalo. Walter is also survived by his sister Bertha C. Shea, 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Calling hours will take place on Friday, May 6, 2016 from 5-8 P.M. in the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St. Fall River. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. in Good Shepherd Parish, 1598 S Main St, Fall River, MA. (Family & friends are invited to meet directly at church) Burial will be private.
