Lillian M. (Azzarone) Zingarelli, 98, of Worcester, passed away Wednesday, April 20th in Christopher House. Her husband of 64 years, James M. Zingarelli, Sr. died in 2011. She leaves two sons, James M. Zingarelli, Jr. and his wife Luanne of West Boylston and Richard R. Zingarelli and his wife Barbara of Cambridge; a daughter, Bettina M. Cullina of Sutton; a grandson, Christopher Cullina of Worcester; nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by three sisters, Delia Mahoney, Phyllis Capone, and Antoinette Guiliani.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Lello and Giuseppina (Perotte) Azzarone. Mrs. Zingarelli was a stocker for Zayre's Department Store for many years. She was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Church and the Women's Auxiliary of the Worcester Lodge of Elks #243. She enjoyed bolwing, Bingo, and crossword puzzles, but her greatest joy was being a mother and grandmother.
Lillian's family would like to thank the staff of Christopher House, Christopher Heights, and JHC Hospice for the care and support they have provided over the years.
The funeral is Tuesday, April 26th from O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 11:00 A.M. in St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 5 Spaulding Street. Entombment will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. A calling hour is from 9:30 until 10:30 A.M. Tuesday in the funeral home.
