Florine M. (Landry) Thibault, 91, of Berlin, NH passed away on Thursday morning April 21, 2016 at St. Vincent de Paul Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Thibault was born in Berlin on December 19, 1924, a daughter of Arthur and Yvonne (Ouillette) Landry. She attended St. Joseph School until Grade 5, when her mother passed away. She then moved to Colebrook, attended grade school and graduated from Colebrook Academy. Florine met her husband Roland and married in 1946. They then moved back to Berlin, where she has since resided and for the past seven years she has been a resident of St. Vincent de Paul. She was a member of St. Kieran Church, now known as St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Berlin, VFW Post 2520 Ladies Auxiliary, Club Joliette Snowshoe Auxiliary, where she was past president and officer, a former member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, where she was past president. She worked as a Nurse’s Aide at St. Louis Hospital and as a volunteer at St. Vincent de Paul Nursing Home and also worked as a cook with her husband at The Club Joliette Snowshoe. Family members include a son Roger Thibault of Berlin, NH and a daughter Marlene Russ and her husband Jon of Errol, NH, a granddaughter Johanna Kent and partner David Glidden of Wolfeboro, NH, great grandchildren Lillian Davenhall and Nicholas Davenhall, two sisters Theresa Dziedzic and husband Tony of Torrington, CT and Marie Deslisle and husband Raymond of Casco, ME and a brother, Ernest Landry of Whitefield, NH. She was predeceased by her husband Roland, a sister Irene Leonard and brothers Arthur Roger Landry and Alfred Landry. Funeral services will be held on Monday April 25, 2016 at 1 PM the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call prior to the service from 12 – 1 PM. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Activities Fund.
