Stephen A. Kozak, 61, of Millis and formerly of Dedham died on Monday, April 18, 2016 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was the beloved husband of Deborah A. (Bennett) Kozak sharing 33 years of marriage.
A resident of Millis for 26 years he was born in Boston the son of the late Robert and Virginia (Miele) Kozak.
Mr. Kozak was an engineer working for the Schneider-Electric Corporation, and previously for the Invensys and Foxborough Company. He had a passion for sports photography and filmmaking and operated two of his own businesses SteveKPhotography and SteveKFilms. Active in sports throughout his life he enjoyed playing golf, tennis and achieved a Second Degree Black Belt in Karate. Mr. Kozak participated in the Toastmasters Organization and played the guitar.
Mr. Kozak was a graduate of Northeastern University class of 1978, he attended the Dedham School system and graduated from Dedham High School class of 1972.
In addition to his wife he is survived by one son Michael Kozak of Millis. One brother Kenneth R Kozak and his wife Jeanne of Norwood, brother and sisters in law Lee and James Robertson of Holliston, Kathleen and John Vann of Bayonet Point Florida, Denise and John Wood of Dalton, Daniel and Maureen Bennett of Hopkinton, Kim and Scott Miccile of Wrentham and Tom and Kristin Bennett of Annandale New Jersey,
nieces and nephews Kenny, Mark, Lisa K., Lisa D., Ian, Kristin, Katherine, Duncan, Jack, Sean, Alyssa, Brianna, Katie, Annie, Maille, Caroline and Emily. Great nieces and nephews, Olivia, Ozzy, Timmy and Gio and his beloved dog Izzy.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral service on Tuesday, April 26th at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery South Natick.
Visiting hours are Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.
