Obituary

Brian P. Hingston, an 11 year resident of Quincy and formerly of Charlestown, Dorchester and South Boston, entered into eternal life following a tragic accident on Sunday, April 17, 2016. He was 45 years old.

Brian was born in Malden on September 25, 1970, a son of James and Janice (Blaikie) Hingston. He grew up in Charlestown where he was educated at St. Francis De Sales Parochial School and graduated from Don Bosco High School in Boston in 1989. Brian worked for Tufts Medical Center in Boston for over 30 years as a full time and part time employee in the Admissions Office. For the last 12 plus years, Brian has been working as a Project Manager for Partner's Health Care. Brian was very involved in the Charlestown Boy's Club in his earlier years growing up in Charlestown and then became very involved with the Daniel Marr Boys & Girls Club in Dorchester with his children's activities. He was a member of the Boston Firefighters Running Club and enjoyed skiing and listening to music.

Brian's passion in life was family first. He adored his wife and 3 children and was very outspoken to the idea that happiness begins from the home and he showed and exhibited countless times the love and admiration that flowed from his loving family.

Brian is the adored husband of 17 years to Tammy M. (Street) Hingston. He is the devoted and loving father to Wil Patrick Hingston, Colin James Hingston and Sadie Elizabeth Hingston. He is the beloved son of James and Janice (Blaikie) Hingston. He is the beloved brother of James Hingston and his wife Andrea. He is the beloved son-in-law of retired Boston Firefighter Edmund Street and Marion Street. He is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Brian's Funeral Mass on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. (GO DIRECTLY TO CHURCH). His burial will be at Blue Hills Cemetery in Braintree. Visiting hours will be on Friday, April 22, 2016 from 3 to 8 P.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown.
