Donald G. Kingsbury, 59, of Derry NH, died Tuesday April 19, 2016 at the Parkland Medical Center, after suffering a massive stroke. Donald, aka, Donnie, was born in Derry NH on Aug 16, 1956, the son of the late Irving & Ethel (Rogers) Kingsbury.
Donnie was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy Class of 1975. After graduation Donnie enlisted in the Marines. Upon returning from the Marines, he became a Firefighter/EMT with the Derry Fire Department. He also worked in the construction field. He was an amazing finish carpenter.
Loved by all who met him, he had an infectious smile and a contagious laugh.
Donnie is survived by his fiance Brenda St. Armand, his children, Corrie Hagen and Aaron Murphy, his grandchildren Blake & Alexis Boggs and Anthony Hagen - all of Texas. He is also survived by his siblings, sister, Lindalee Flessas & husband Chris of Northwood NH, sister Karen Dumas of Deland FL, sister Jo-Ann DelMastro & husband Peter of Manchester NH, brother Kevin of Manchester and sister Deb Parks & husband Larry of Texas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles & cousins.
Donnie’s favorite saying was: "I'm not here for a long time, but I'm here for a good time". He will be greatly missed.
Memorial calling hours will be held on Sunday April 24th from 1-3 at Peabody Funeral Home and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry.
