Mr. Ronald R. Goulet, of Taunton, died Wednesday, April 20 at his residence following a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of Louise (Lafleur) Goulet and the late Maria (Freitas) Goulet. He was born 67 years ago in Taunton, the son of the late Norman and Rita (Gagner) Goulet. He was educated in Taunton and had been a lifelong city resident. Prior to his retirement, Ronald had been employed as a Manager for the former Rennie Curtain Company in Taunton for 32 years. He enjoyed playing cards, dining out, and spending time with his family. He was a communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Parish in Taunton.
In addition to his wife, he leaves: 3 daughters: Darlene Galuski and her husband, Robert of Naples, Fla., Janice Saleeba and her husband, Michael of East Taunton, and Julie Goulet of Taunton; 2 sisters: Louise Pineo of Attleboro, and Catherine Cote of Taunton; 2 granddaughters: Brittany Galuski of Bridgewater and Courtney Galuski of Seekonk; an aunt: Doris Goulet of Taunton, and several nieces and nephews. Ronald was also the brother of the late Andrew Goulet of Fla.
Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Saturday, April 23 at 9:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Jude the Apostle Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Friday, from 5:00 TO 8:00 P.M.
