Beverly A. (Pfyffer) Wallace, 73, of Westport, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was married to James A. Wallace, Jr. for 53 years.
Beverly was born in Canton, MA, daughter of the late Albert and Eva (McNeil) Pfyffer. Prior to her retirement, she worked as the Business Manager for the Truesdale Clinic in Fall River. Beverly was an avid reader of the classics and modern literature. She also enjoyed gardening, baking and traveling the world. Her favorite trip was a safari in Tanzania with her family. She loved spending time with her friends and relatives in her beautiful back yard.
Survivors along with her husband include her son: James A. Wallace, III of Bangkok, Thailand; her daughter: Katie Wallace Bethea of Jacksonville Beach, FL; her brother: Albert Pfyffer of Mooresville, NC; her granddaughter: Eva Bethea; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Lilah (Murphy) Moran and Joanne (Wood) Kennedy.
Memorial calling hours will be from 2-4 P.M. on Saturday, April 23rd at the Potter Funeral Home.
A brief memorial service will follow at 4 P.M.
Interment will be private.
