Victoria H. (Rogacevicz) Abysalh, 89, formerly of Worcester, passed away Monday, April 18th in Brookside Rehabilitation Center, Webster. Her husband of 56 years, George C. Abysalh, died in 2001. She leaves a son, Charles G. Abysalh of North Brookfield, who was a wonderful son to her; a dughter, Stacia Perry; three grandchildren, George C. Abysalh of Enfield, CT, Melinda M. Martin, and Marlene M. Zannatti. She was predeceased by two brothers, Anthony and John Rogacevicz, and her daughter-in-law, Marianne Abysalh.
She was born in North Brookfield, the daughter of John J. Rogacevicz and attended St. Joseph's School and North Brookfield High School, where she was a member of the band. Mrs. Abysalh retired from the Worcester School Department in 2002, after working there for 20 years. She had previously worked for NewCoat Manufacturing and the Washburn House. Mrs. Abysalh enjoyed reading, cooking, ice skating, and baking. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Parish.
The funeral is Monday, April 25th with a Mass at 10:00 A.M. in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Private burial will in Notre Dame Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Donation's in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA. O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, is directing arrangements.
