April 19, 2016 In Raynham Catherine M. (McKeown) Williams wife of the late Frederick Williams Jr. died surrounded by her family in her home at the age of 82. Born in Brockton, Catherine was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Brown) McKeown. She was a graduate of Bridgewater High School class of 1951and Brockton School of Nursing in 1954 where she received her RN license. Catherine worked for Brockton Hospital in the Maternity ward for sixteen years and after that worked for Bridgewater State College Infirmary. Catherine was on the Bristol Plymouth Regional Technical High Schools School Committee for 27 years. She was the mother of Frederick Williams III in Taunton, Timothy Williams and his wife Deborah of Rehoboth and the late Scott Williams. Grandmother of Christopher Blanchard, Christopher Miller, Kyle & Chelsea Williams, CyAnn & Corrine Williams, Nathaniel & Sophia Williams. Sister of Rose Bunker of Bridgewater. A service will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home 70 Washington Street in Taunton Tuesday, April 26th at 10 AM. Calling hours will be on Monday from 5-8 PM. Interment Pine Hill Cemetery in West Bridgewater. In lieu of flowers donations in Catherine’s memory may be made to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
