Leona Cade February 11, 1922 - April 18, 2016 CHESTERFIELD--Leona (Baciu) Cade, 94, formerly of Chesterfield, went to be with her husband on April 18, 2016 at The Walker Place in Shelbyville. She was born February 11, 1922 in Anderson to her Romanian parents, Alexe and Lena (Cernea) Baciu. She worked for Indiana Bell and Delco Remy Plant 7, where she retired after 25 years of service. She was a member of the U.A.W. and Elks Club. She was also a member of the L.O.A. Guild and Chesterfield Christian Church for over 60 years. She enjoyed singing, reading the Bible, writing poems and being with her family. She is survived by her four children, Carol (Jay) McCarroll of Chesterfield, IN; James Ronald Cade of Albany, IN; Mark A. Cade of Carmel and Lana B. Cade of Indianapolis; nine grandchildren, Jay, Cauliene, Monte, Amie, Shelley, Julie, Dayna, Emili and Cory; 14 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband C. Jack Cade and three sisters, Louise B. Precup, Anna Burke, Elizabeth Gale; brother, Emil Baciu. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service on Saturday, April 23, 2016 with Ned Clark officiating. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. and Sat. 1 hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be given to Chesterfield Christian Church. Mom/Mother/Grandma Jack "Te eubesc".
