Funeral services for Inez Smith Rainey,99, will be held 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn, GA. Mrs. Rainey passed away Monday, April 18, 2016 after an extended illness.
The widow of the late Melbron N. Rainey and daughter of the late Christopher Columbus Smith and Minnie Ola Perry Smith, she was born in Crisp County on August 31, 1916. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her sister-in-laws Wynette Odom Smith, Arabi, GA and Helen Rainey Land, Sylvester, GA; nieces Jane Smith, Ashburn, GA, Linda Raper, Ashburn GA, Anita Smith Dailey, Macon, GA; nephew Larry Julian Smith, Montezuma, GA and many great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 20, 2016 from 1:30 P.M. until the hour of service at Perry Funeral Chapel.
