Keith John Lemire, 42, of Reynolds Road, Glocester, died Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. He was the devoted husband of Rita Barbosa (Cabral) Lemire. They had been married for 18 years. He was the adored father of Kelly Lemire.
Born in Providence, Keith was a son of Kenneth Paul and Yvette Alice (Mandeville) Lemire of Mapleville. Keith worked as an automotive instructor at the Universal Technical Institute in Norwood, Massachusetts. He had made his home in Glocester for 18 years, previously residing in Mapleville. His many hobbies included fishing, snow-mobiling, riding his ATV and camping, but above all in spending time with his daughter and his family.
Besides his wife and parents, he is survived by his brother, Kevin Lemire and his wife, Cindy of Douglas, Massachusetts, as well as his many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and brothers and sisters in-laws. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Leo and Lillian Mandeville, and Wilfred and Elinor Lemire.
His funeral will be held Friday at 8:30am from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Joseph Church, 144 Danielson Pike, North Scituate. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Visitation Thursday 4-7 pm.
