ADONNA A. (GULICK) RILEY, 87, passed away on April 17, 2016.
She was a retired employee of Jefferson County Public Schools, past Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees for Pleasure Ridge Park Fire Department, past president of PRP High School PTA, Jefferson County Council, 14th District PTA, past president of the State of KY, Congress of Parents and Teachers, and recipient of state a national life memberships. She also served at Past President and Treasurer of the PRP High School Booster Club. Adonna was a Board member and past President of Kentuckiana Girl Scout Council, served on the Board of Health, Education and Welfare committee under the President Jimmy Carter administration and was a past member of Bethany United Methodist Church.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Dain “Tooter” Riley and her parents.
Survivors include her children, Dain S. “Buddy” Riley, Jr. (Janet) and Dayne Kellon; grandchildren, Joshua Kellon, Megan Thomas (Mark), Matthew and Tress Riley; great grandchildren, Ellison, Nolan and Hayden; and her sister, Jeanette Keeton.
Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with cremation to follow.
Visitation will be from 2:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
