Shirley K. (Lucas) Livengood June 25, 1937-April 16, 2016 ANDERSON--Shirley K. (Lucas) Livengood, 78, of Anderson, died April 16, 2016 at AMG Specialty Hospital in Muncie after an extended illness. She was born June 25, 1937 in Joplin, Missouri to Frederick and Mabel Kathryn (Staub) Lucas and graduated from Roswell High School in New Mexico in 1955. She worked for the Anderson Fur Company and Rockwool Industries, State Board of Health and Enlisted Records at the Finance Center at Fort Benjamin Harrison for 17 years before retiring in 2002. She also sold Avon for many years. She loved reading, gardening, especially her Iris garden, creative cooking; she was a talented seamstress and animal lover. She is survived by her four children, Kathy (Jack Stepp) Wehrley of Anderson; Julie Marie Livengood of Muncie, Debra (Devra) Lynn Livengood of Duluth, MN; and William R. (Katherine) Livengood of Grand Blanc, MI; five grandchildren, Justin Drew (Sophia) Phipps, with a great grandchild, Erza Scarlet on the way in June; Brandon Phipps, Nakai Rodriguez, Alex Livengood and Lauren Elizabeth Livengood, sister, Rickie (Daniel) Lackey of Farmington, NM; and several nieces and nephews, her beloved aunt, Sally Stevenson of Panama City, FL; and special friends, Patsy E. Jones, Kim McAmis, and Sandy Cable. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held at noon on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Kent Stookey officiating. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be given to Animal Rescue Fund of Muncie, Second Harvest Foodbank or St. Jude's Hospital for Children.
