Obituary

Holden - Wesley T. Holm, 94, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 17, 2016. He leaves his beloved wife of 66 years, Marjorie E. (Beckstrom) Holm; two daughters, Janice Norcross and her husband, Douglas of Charlton and Susan DiVirgilio and her husband Ralph of Holden; 5 grandchildren Scott and Benjamin Norcross, Amy, wife of James Young, James DiVirgilio, and Laura, wife of Edward Urbec; 2 great-grandchildren, Ryder and Pearl Young; and a niece Marilyn Dahlquist. He was predeceased by his sister, Marjorie Dahlquist. Wesley was born in Worcester, son of Gerda (Swedberg) and Oscar T. Holm. He was a WWII Coast Guard veteran. He was an accountant and the Treasurer of Johnson Steel & Wire Company for most of his career. Mr. Holm attended Salem Covenant Church. He was a member of the former Grace Baptist Church where he served as treasurer, Sunday school teacher, and choir member. He was an avid golfer and a talented woodworker.

The family would like to thank the staff at Dodge Park Rest Home who so lovingly cared for him.

A memorial service will be held at Salem Covenant Church, 215 E. Mountain St., Worcester on Wednesday, April 20, at 11:00am. The burial will be private in All Faiths Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Salem Covenant Church or Dodge Park Rest Home for their Activity Fund. Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester is directing arrangements.
