Robert A. “Bob” Tomaselli, age 81, of Natick passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2016, with his loving wife and daughter by his side. He was married to the love of his life, Anita (Gaudet) Tomaselli, for 52 years. Bob was the devoted father of Gina Chapelhow and her husband Richard, and the loving “Papa Bob” of grandsons Thomas, Michael, and Theo, all of Nova Scotia. He was predeceased by his parents, Salvatore and Grace (Salerno) Tomaselli, and his sister, Marie Battista.
Born in Boston, Bob was raised in Watertown and was a graduate of St. Patrick High School with the Class of 1952. He served his country with the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Bob earned a degree from Colby College and was employed working in electronics with Honeywell Corporation where he made many strong friendships. He was a choir member at both St. Jeremiah and St. George Churches and a longtime member of the Goldenaires singers. Bob touched hundreds of people with his kindness, humility, wisdom, and love. He was known for his joy in befriending everyone with whom he came in contact.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial in St. George’s Church, 74 School Street, Framingham, on Tuesday, April 26 at 10:00 A.M. and to join the family for a time of continued fellowship following his mass at the Sherwood Village Community Center at 143 Mill Street, Natick . Donations may be made in Bob’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, 01701, or to the charity of one’s choice.
