Michael J. Coote age 48 of Quincy, formerly of Hyde Park passed away suddenly April 16th at the Norwood Hospital. Born in the Bronx, NY he was raised in Hyde Park and graduated from Hyde Park High School. He worked for many years for the family business New England Cooling and Heating in Dedham. Michael loved sports and was a coach and active member of Quincy Youth Baseball and Quincy Youth Football. Dear son of the late Charles and Barbara (McMurtry) Coote. Beloved husband of Rachel Ryan. Loving and devoted father of Michael J. and Elizabeth G. Coote. Brother of Kevin Coote of Weymouth, Charlie Coote of Foxboro, Donna Faiella of Hyde Park, Lee Sullivan of Quincy, Richard Coote of Amesbury, Cathy Lonergan of Roslindale and Sean Coote of Attleboro. Son in law of Eileen Ryan of FLA and Roy Smith of Weymouth. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral mass at St. Joseph’s Church Quincy Friday morning at 10. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave Milton Thursday 4-8 pm. Burial Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
