WAYLAND: Evelyn Elizabeth (Prescott) Fredrickson, 93, died peacefully and comfortably with her daughter at her side on Sunday, April 10, 2016 following a period of declining health.
She was born in Lynn on November 27, 1922 the daughter of the late Harley Ned Prescott and Gladys Arvilda (Johnson) Prescott.
She is survived by her loving and devoted daughter Anne E. Harmon and her husband John A. (Jay) Harmon of Wayland. Sister of Warren Earl Prescott and his wife Sheila Prescott of Tewksbury. Cherished grandmother of David A. Harmon and his wife Sarah Harmon of Chelmsford; Paul V. Harmon and his wife Deborah Harmon of Hudson and Amy C. Chisholm, Esq. and her husband Thomas Chisholm of Holden. Also survived by 7 great - grandchildren, one great - great grandson, 5 nieces and 3 nephews.
Evelyn had been a longtime resident of Lynn before moving to Wayland six years ago. In her earlier years, she was an active member with the Lynn Women of Rotary and was a Paul Harris Fellow recipient. She was also a former member of the Barber Shop Gals (SPEBSQUA), The Lynn Girl Scout Council, and chairman of United Way.
Private family services will be held at the convenience of her family and interment will be in the Fredrickson – Prescott family lot in Pine Grove Cemetery in Lynn.
