Meredith C. Edwards, 69, of Frramingham, MA passed away at her home on April 11th, 2016. She was predeceased by her parents, Edmund and Marguerite Bean of Ashland MA. She is survived by 2 daughters, Lara Smith of Charlotte NC and Lisa James of Virginia Beach VA, 3 grandchildren, Brittany and husband Kyle Monroe, Logan James of Virginia Beach and Renee Rufo of Arkansas, along with 2 recent great grandchildren. She also leaves her sister, Ruth and husband Lawrence Spencer of Rockport MA, and niece, Kaity Connolly of Natick MA and nephew, Nathan Liberty of Northridge MA. She also leaves behind many close friends at the Memorial House, including Emily and her beloved kitty, Baby. Her family thanks her longterm doctor, and staff at Dr. Deshpande's for his dedication, care and compassion. Merri (as known to friends and Meme to her family), got her passion for animals from her parents and especially loved horseback riding and cats. She had an incredible green thumb and was always nursing a stray animal or plant back to health. She adored R&B music, reading, particularly poetry and collected Depression Glass. She grew up and attended school in Ashland, MA but spent the majority of her years in Framingham. Cherished family vacations included trips to the Cape and Peter's Pond. In her later years she enjoyed Joyce Meyers and the faith of her church. Funeral services are being handled by Casper Funeral Services in Boston, MA and will be private.
