Gregory J. Drugan, 30, of Derry, NH, died Friday April 15, 2016 in his home. He was born in Melrose, MA on November 16, 1985, a son of Gregory and Linda (Rindone) Drugan, and had been a resident of Derry for many years. Greg, also known by the nickname Hans, was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy in Derry, Class of 2004 and a graduate of Keene State College with high honors. He was employed as a biology researcher. Greg enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing, and spending time with his dog Mallory. He was also an avid New England Patriots and Boston Bruins fan who spent free time working out at the gym.
In addition to his parents of Derry; he is survived by his brother, Neil C. Drugan of Methuen, MA; his grandmothers, Carole Rindone of Reading, MA, and Dorothy Drugan of Peabody, MA; his maternal grandfather, Louis Rindone of Lakeland, FL; and his adopted grandfather, Ron Bucknam of Reading, MA. He was also loved and will be missed by his cousins, aunts, and uncles. Hans was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, John E. Drugan.
Calling hours were held on Thursday, April 21st from 4 - 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday at 11:00am in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Avenue, Derry. The burial was in Forest Hill Cemetery in E. Derry.
