CANTERBURY - Susan Mary Raymond, 47, of 592 Northwest Road, died Tuesday, April 12, 2016 in her home.
She was born on December 30, 1968 in Worcester, MA., the daughter of Paul and Barbara (Deering) Raymond. Susan was a graduate of Belmont High School and attended St. Anselm College and Notre Dame College, where she received her Master's Degree. Susan was a proud educator, homeschooling her three children for many years. She also had worked as a Counselor for Webster house. She was an avid runner, recently participating in a marathon in Manchester. Susan was an animal lover. She raised and rode horses, riding in many events. To Susan, her kids and their education was her world.
In addition to her parents of Canterbury, she is survived by her son, Finnegan Benoit; two daughters; Isabelle and Lillian Benoit; one sister, Kathleen Dube and her husband Tracey of Belmont, her former husband, Jeremy Benoit of Concord and several nieces and nephews, including Ryan and Garrett Dube.
Calling hours will be held from 4Pm to 7Pm on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, using the Carriage House entrance.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10AM on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at the Saint Joseph Parish, 96 Main Street, Belmont.
Burial will follow in the family lot at Maple Grove Cemetery in Canterbury.
