Joseph L. Balfe age 88 of Milton passed away April 15th at Season’s Hospice in Milton surrounded by his loving family. Born in Boston, he was a lifelong resident of Milton who graduated from Milton High School and was a Navy Veteran of WW II. He worked as an Electrician for many years for Local 103 in Boston before retiring. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his family and making wooden model boats. Beloved husband of the late Anne M. (Crowley). Father of Katie Sullivan of Andover, Dennis Balfe of Norfolk, Joanne DeConto of Pocasset, Patrick Balfe of Holbrook, Michael Balfe of Mansfield and John of Wrentham. Brother of James Balfe of Milton and the late Edward Balfe. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral mass at St. Elizabeth’s Church Milton Wednesday morning at 10. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave Milton Tuesday 4-8 pm. Burial Milton Cemetery.
