Miguel A. “Chu-Chu” Rivera, age 47, passed away on April 12, 2016 at Baystate Medical Center. He was born on Dec. 13, 1968 in Springfield. Miguel worked as a freight carrier for United Van Line for many years. Miguel lived in Chicopee his whole life. He was very well known by everyone and had a heart of gold. He leaves his parents Angel and Santo (Alvarado) Rivera of Chicopee; 1 brother Edward Rivera and his wife Shiela of Westfield; 1 sister Sonia Torres and her husband Edwin Cabrera of Chicopee; 1 nephew Justin Cabrera and 2 nieces Piper and Samantha Rivera and also his aunts, uncles and cousins. Calling hours will be on Sunday, April 17, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
