Geraldine M. (Stanley) Leonard, affectionately known as “Ducky”, passed away peacefully in her loving family’s company on Tuesday, April 12, 2016. Most recently a Milton resident, she formerly resided in So. Weymouth and Mattapan for many years. The beloved wife of 61 years to Paul A. Leonard, she is also survived by her devoted children; Diane M. Holland and her husband Jim of Milton, Paul A. and his wife Cheryl of Hanover, John P. and his wife Cindy of Singapore, and Kevin W. Leonard and his wife Liza of Brooklyn, NY. She was the loving Nana of Jay and Mary Kathryn Holland, John, Molly and Amy Leonard, Maxine and Declan Leonard and Benjamin and Teddy Leonard and sister of the late Duke Stanley and sister-in-law of the late Eleanor Stanley. Mrs. Leonard was also survived by several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Hills Church, Milton, Thursday, April 21 at 10 am. Visiting hours will be held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton Wednesday 4 to 8PM. Interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
