Janet R. Palmer, 68, of Londonderry, NH, passed away Tuesday April 12, 2016 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH after a courageous battle with Lymphoma. She was born September 27, 1947 in Exeter, NH and was a daughter of the late Walter and Dorothy (Ellis) Godet. Janet was raised in Exeter and was a graduate of Exeter High School.
Mrs. Palmer and her husband were the former owners of Palmer's Market in Hudson, NH, which they operated for 21 years prior to their retirement. She enjoyed crocheting with a group of her friends, following the horses at Runnymede Farm and above all else just being a Grammie. She will forever be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was beloved by a large circle of friends.
Members of the family include her loving husband of 43 years, Richard Palmer of Londonderry, her son, Stephen Palmer of Goffstown, her daughter and her husband, Erin and Brian Weigler of Londonderry, her beloved granddaughter, Molly Weigler, two sisters, Judith Rogers of Londonderry and Hazel Quigley of Florida, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
After cremation, a celebration of her life is being planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the New Hampshire SPCA, PO Box 196, Stratham, NH or The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at www.lls.org.
